Anne-Linda Camerini

Dr. Anne-Linda Camerini (Project Responsible and Coordinator)
Anne-Linda Camerini is scientific researcher at the Institute of Communication and Health, USI Lugano. She holds a Master in media studies and a PhD in health communication. Her research interests lie in the role of media in child and adolescent development and well-being, and the concept of health literacy.

Laura Marciano (Project Collaborator)
Laura Marciano is scientific researcher at the Institute of Communication and Health, USI Lugano. She holds a Master in Psychology with a specialization in Cognitive Neurosciences from Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan. She collaborates on the project MEDIATICINO2.0.

Teresa Cafaro

Teresa Cafaro (Project Collaborator)
Teresa Cafaro is the administrative manager of the Institute of Communication and Health, USI Lugano. She has a Master in communication sciences from University of Zurich.

Peter J. Schulz

Prof. Dr. Peter J. Schulz (Project Co-Responsible)
Peter J. Schulz is professor in communication theories and health communication and the director of the Institute of Communication and Health, USI Lugano. His research interests are, among others, health literacy and empowerment, cultural factors in health, and child and adolescent well-being.

Prof. Dr. Nathaniel Osgood (Scientific Project Partner)
Nathaniel Osgood is professor in computer science at the University of Saskatchewan (Canada). He obtained his PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His research areas are computational epidemiology and public health informatics. He is partner in the project MEDIATICINO2.0.

Mohammad Hashemian (Technical Project Partner)
Mohammad is the CEO and founder of Ethica Data. He obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, where his thesis focused on using smartphones and wearables in public health and social science. He has 3 years experience in academic research and 6 years experience in industrial software production and management.

Leonia Menegalli

Leonia Menegalli (Consultant)
Leonia Menegalli is general director of the comunal administration of public elementary schools in Bellinzona. Since 2014, she has been the principal contact with all elementary schools involved in the project. In addition, she collaborates as consultant thanks to her long experience in the school environment and her training in Switzerland and abroad, especially in Canada (Québec), where she is still in contact with university teachers and researchers in pedagogy.

Francesco Vanetta

Francesco Vanetta (Consultant)

Until December 2016, Francesco Vanetta was head of the Cantonal school administration of middle schools (DECS). He studied pedagogy in Geneva and for a decade has led the Cantonal office of education and research at DECS (research in education and school-related statistics). He continues to collaborate in the project as consultant and maintains the contact with DECS and all middle schools involved in the study.
