(Media) multitasking: Skill or utopia?

In a project in collaboration with eLAB of USI, we talked about the pros and cons of (media) multitasking, often considered a competence needed to efficiently manage the new role as mum and dad of a newborn child. But can we actually multitask in today's hyperconnected world?
